Some people experience ongoing barriers to communicating what they want when they want. This may be called communication difficulty or communication disability.
People who experience communication difficulties or disability are a diverse group with a wide range of lived experience. Meet some of our communication advocates.
A number of conditions and illnesses can result in communication disability. But sometimes, there is no obvious cause.
Everyone can communicate, no matter what their disability or other needs. The right types of support can enable everyone to communicate and live a good life.
The NDIS helps eligible people with communication disability to access the support they need to achieve their goals and have a good life.
